Workflow
The workflow in Press to go is designed to be very easy to use without any requirements for end user training. The workflow follows a simple step by step process with few, if any, alternative routes to follow. We know it´s possible. We have launched applications to our major customers generating ten thousands of orders in matter of days without hardly any support requests at all.
For advanced applications we have developed a workflow that gives a unique overview over the application and its content and input sources. It shows the document pages, the editable content and the preview in one screen view.
Content input
Input for dynamic templates can be taken from a variety of different sources. These can be:
- User input
- Data from the user details
- Dataset / Archive
The different sources can be combined with each other in the same workflow. The user can first input general information valid for the whole document and then populate individual pages with predefined data from a Content Management Archive.
Design alternatives
Design alternatives can make the difference between dull template that is boring to work with and a great one that fulfils the needs of many different user groups. Design alternatives can be handled as layers in the same template and having the user to choose which design to be used. The design choice can even be done in the midst of the process of populating content. The system can then show the content in the different design alternatives letting the user decide which looks best.
